We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a job share position at a primary school in Rossendale. This role involves covering long-term sickness with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will work full days on Thursdays and Fridays, collaborating closely with another part-time teacher to ensure continuity and excellence in teaching.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the curriculum standards for Year 4.
Work collaboratively with another Year 4 teacher to ensure a cohesive educational experience for the students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage academic and personal growth.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to support student learning and well-being.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) is essential.
Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
