REED/LTA are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a temporary position at a friendly and supportive primary school in Morecambe. This role offers a great opportunity for professional development and the possibility of extension depending on school requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of Year 3 students, in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Employ excellent behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities.
- Manage classroom resources and maintain an organised and welcoming learning space.
- Support the inclusion of children with SEND, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed.
- Direct TA’s and additional adult support within the classroom
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience as a primary school teacher, with specific experience in teaching Year 3 or KS2 preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
- Experience teaching children with SEND is advantageous.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
