  • We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join our team on a one-year contract to cover maternity leave starting in September 2025. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students and work in a supportive school environment.

    Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.

  • Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.

  • Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to enhance the educational environment for students.

  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.

  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.


  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience as a Year 4 Teacher or in a similar teaching role.

  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.

  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to professional development.
