Location: Preston
Job Type: Part-time (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
REED/LTA are looking for an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a nurturing primary school in Preston. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a supportive and creative learning environment for our youngest learners.
An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver educational activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Create a learning environment that is safe, respectful, and engaging for young children.
• Assess the development and progress of children and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
• Implement and adapt the EYFS curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children.
• Collaborate with other EYFS staff to share best practices and coordinate activities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in EYFS.
• Proven experience in an EYFS setting is essential.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing environment that encourages early learning.
