Part-Time Teacher - Computing KS2

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Start September 2025 - Until July 2026

    We are seeking a Part-Time Teacher to deliver computing lessons to KS2 students (Years 3 to 6) at a friendly and supportive school in Morecambe. This long-term position is ideal for someone seeking regular part-time work every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.

    Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach computing to KS2 students (Years 3, 4, 5, and 6).
  • Prepare engaging and educational lessons that adhere to the ICT/Computing curriculum.
  • Work from 12:30 to 15:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • There is potential to undertake other ad-hoc teaching assignments as required by the school.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of the ICT/Computing curriculum is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous teaching experience, particularly at the KS2 level, is preferred.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to take on additional teaching hours as needed.
