Primary SEN Teacher Opportunity in the Rossendale Valley!

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive and well-regarded school?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Primary SEN Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in the Rossendale Valley with a “Good” Ofsted rating and a strong local reputation. This is a job share position working closely with the current SENDCo, teaching within the school’s dedicated SEN provision.

The Role:
  • 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) – flexible days to be discussed

  • Teaching a small group of 12 children with a range of additional needs

  • Designing and delivering personalised learning plans tailored to each child

  • Collaborating with the SENDCo, support staff, and wider school team

  • Ensuring inclusive, engaging, and high-quality teaching and learning

  • Initial contract for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a view to becoming permanent


  • The Ideal Candidate:
  • A qualified teacher with substantial SEN experience

  • Confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons

  • Skilled in developing and implementing EHCPs and personalised strategies

  • A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Committed to nurturing the potential of every child
