Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Reed/LTA are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a Preston based primary school for a maternity cover starting in September until May 2026, with potential flexibility due to maternity rights. This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and work within a supportive school community.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of children in Year 3.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to cater for varied learning abilities.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons and school activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
