They should excel in delivering both theoretical and practical elements of learning and be able to teach Humanities (Geography, History, and RE) at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels. Additionally, they may be required to teach other subjects across the school. Proficiency in using ICT in all aspects of work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to relate to people at all levels are essential. The candidate should be a positive team player committed to professional development and open to embracing new technologies and ideas that enhance learning. We are seeking a candidate who is an excellent classroom practitioner, capable of leading by example and modelling outstanding teaching and learning for children with complex learning difficulties. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of a personalized curriculum, a strong commitment to safeguarding all children, and high expectations for every student. Additionally, they should possess an excellent grasp of emotional regulation and sensory needs, along with exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication.
