1:1 Tutor

  • Location: Local Libraries or Children Centres Across Lancashire
  • Job Type – Part-time

    We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to students aged 9-16 across core subjects including English, Maths, and Science. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and looking to make a significant impact on students' academic progress.

    Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct tutoring sessions in local libraries or centres across the whole of Lancashire Lancashire.
  • Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop and maintain teaching materials and resources.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of students.
  • Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on educational progress.
  • Identify and address varying educational needs and potential barriers to learning.
  • Create an engaging and motivating learning environment.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Profound knowledge of English, Maths, and Science.
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching students aged 9-16.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload.
  • Inspirational, patient, and resilient with a strong commitment to enhancing educational outcomes.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in education or a core subject area.
