Thank you for your interest in the post of KS2 Class Teacher Job Share. I hope that the information included in this pack will help inform your application. This post will be shared with one of our current teachers who – after coming back from maternity leave – will now be working 3 days per week, with the successful candidate sharing Class Teacher responsibilities for the other 2 days per week. Which days of the week the successful candidate works will be negotiable. This position is suitable for both ECTs or more experienced teachers to apply. Standards of attainment and behaviour at our school are good, and we are looking for a capable, enthusiastic teacher with an open mind and a ‘can-do attitude’ who can join our supportive team and help to make our Mission Slogan even more of a reality for the children at St Gregory’s.
As a Catholic School, our Mission Slogan - ‘Loving all, like Jesus, we flourish together’ - underpins all we do. We currently have 210 children on roll who come to school happy, enthusiastic and motivated to learn, supported well by parents and the parish. We have high expectations of all pupils and are ambitious about what they can achieve. Staff well-being is a strength of our school. Our recent Ofsted Inspection gives a fair representation of what life is like at St Gregory’s, a copy of which can be found here: https://www.stgregorysps.co.uk/diocesan-section-48-inspection-ofsted-and-performa/
Visits to the school are encouraged, please ring the school office (01772 795415) to book in. Please also visit the school website to get an even better ‘flavour’ for our school. (https://www.stgregorysps.co.uk/)
