The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher who will:

- Essential Qualifications

- Good academic achievement including a relevant honours degree

- A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master's degree
- To be a practising Catholic
- Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS)
- A first aid certificate
- A postgraduate qualification e.g. a Master's degree
- Essential Experience

- Experience of teaching relevant subject at Key Stages 3 and 4 (includes trainee placements)
- Conducting assessments, keeping records and producing reports on pupils
- Implementing safeguarding procedures in schools
- Experience of teaching relevant subject at Key Stages 3 and 4 (includes trainee placements)
- Desirable Experience

- A successful track record with GCSE classes
- Experience of working in a Catholic secondary school (trainee placements appropriate), organising and participating in extra curricular activities
- Experience of planning, organising and taking part in trips/visits that link to the Religious Education curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4
- A successful track record with GCSE classes
