The Governors of Morecambe Bay Community Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced SEND class teacher to join our dedicated staff team. This full-time, permanent position begins in September 2025 and will be based within ‘The Cove’ a SEND unit within our school.
Established in September 2022, 'The Cove' is a valued part of our school community, catering to up to 8 children with SLCN/ASD. A high staff-to-pupil ratio allows for specialist teaching and an adapted curriculum.

The role involves planning and delivering an adapted curriculum, 1:1 and small group interventions, and strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. The successful applicant will partner closely with the SENCO to deliver the highest standards of support and provision for pupils.
This is a positive time to join Morecambe Bay. Since April 2024, our new headteacher has brought big ambitions for the future. Most importantly, our school is a happy place to work. We invest in the professional development of all staff, providing opportunities to reflect on practice and continually improve.
