The Governors of Caton Primary School are looking to appoint a talented and inspiring Class Teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team. Caton Primary School is a thriving and successful school in the beautiful Lune Valley.
Our facilities are superb with a wonderful outdoor space, including our own forest, running track and a detached sports hall.

- a reflective practitioner who is always keen to learn and to take on professional development opportunities
- someone who has the ability to use IT effectively within teaching and learning

The successful candidate is likely to be teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class in the first instance.

Evidence of recent and relevant training applicable to the post

Evidence of strong teaching in a primary school setting
Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
Experience of deploying teaching assistants effectively
Experience of successfully managing challenging behaviour
Experience of assessment, tracking and target setting
