Woodlea is a great school to work at: happy, supportive, mindful of work life balance, content parents, a caring governing body and not to mention … our amazing children!
Please come and visit us to see for yourself?
The successful applicant will join our talented, enthusiastic, hardworking team and have whole class teaching responsibility, as well as making a valuable contribution to the wider life of the school.
Woodlea is at an exciting time on our next stage of growth and development. We are looking for someone who will inspire and challenge our children to grow intellectually and culturally, and to be endlessly ambitious for them.
Woodlea Junior School is an above average-sized school with 226 children on roll. Our children are taught in 8 classes; two per year group, which are mixed ability.
Children at Woodlea benefit from being part of a school family where they feel secure, valued and cared for. Our children enjoy studying a wide, varied and rich curriculum and we aim to provide them with opportunities to support the community they live in and people they live amongst. The wider community includes supportive parents and governors, who are knowledgeable, supportive and play an active role within the life of the school.
We are looking for someone who is committed to securing high standards of teaching and learning, has a positive influence and is passionate about making a difference to all our children at Woodlea, enabling them to grow ambitions by unlocking their potential.
This role is suitable for both ECTs and more experienced teachers: within your supporting statement, please state your areas of expertise, interests and strengths.
