Assistant Headteacher Salary: L4 - L9
The Governors of Spring Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated, passionate, and caring Assistant Headteacher from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to move to the next stage of their career and further develop their professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:- As a class-based teacher, the successful applicant could be based in EYFS, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two.
- To play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of our school curriculum, working closely with subject leaders to monitor teaching and learning.
- To work with the Headteacher to develop and embed assessment practices to monitor the impact of the curriculum for all children.
- To work with the Headteacher to ensure the effective use of the behaviour policy, working closely with all stakeholders in improving behaviour further.
Required Qualifications and Experience:- Proven track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
- Equipped to support and develop the school's ethos
- Committed to safeguarding the welfare and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors
- Excellent team player who will work closely with all team members
