The Governors of Dalton St Michael's Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated, passionate and caring Assistant Headteacher from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to move to the next stage of their career and further develop their professional skills.
As a class-based teacher, the successful applicant is likely to be based in a mixed age upper Key Stage 2 class initially. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner and will be equipped to support and develop the school's Christian ethos and Church of England school distinctiveness.
As our Assistant Headteacher, the successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of our school curriculum, working closely with subject leaders to monitor teaching and learning. You will also work with the HT to develop and embed assessment practices in order to monitor the impact of the curriculum for all children.
