We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of English to our strong English team to cover an impending maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for a new colleague to make a significant impact on the direction of the school. The English Department is innovative, high-achieving and ambitious to improve even further. The successful candidate will teach English across the full age & ability range at KS3 and KS4. If you are interested in developing professionally and have the desire to make a difference, this post offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a school where pupil behaviour is very good.

- Teaching experience across the secondary phase (This does not prohibit NQTs applying for this post)
- Experience of teaching English in both Key Stages
- An understanding of school improvement and the raising of standards to the highest level
- An understanding of the importance of preparation of candidates for public examination

- Desirable Experience
