  • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (February 2025 - July 2025)

    We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant school in the Chorley area. This full-time, temporary position is to cover maternity leave from February 2025 until July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for a class of 27 enthusiastic students, guiding them through an important stage of their educational journey.

    Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal development.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external bodies to support student success.

  • Implement classroom management strategies that foster a constructive learning environment.

  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.


  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 4, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
