Year 3 Class Teacher- Location: Lancaster
- Job Type: Full time (Maternity Cover)
- Start Date: February 2025 - July 2025 (Or when the postholder returns)
We are looking for a motivated Year 3 Class Teacher to join a vibrant school in Lancaster. This position offers a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to the teacher’s pension scheme via LCC. The school is rated good by OFSTED and has an excellent reputation locally.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and educational lessons to Year 3 students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
