Join Our Team as a Cover Supervisor!

This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning journey of our students while gaining valuable experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructions left by the absent teacher, maintaining continuity in the learning process.

Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student engagement and participation.

Provide feedback and reports on student progress to the appropriate department members.

Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Qualifications

GCSE Maths (level C or above)

GCSE English (level C or above)

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

Experience of working with children

Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment

Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
