Reed/LTA are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a primary school in the West Lancashire area from January up until the summer term. The ideal candidate will be a strong, confident educator, particularly skilled in delivering Red Rose and White Rose Maths programmes.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum, with a strong focus on Red Rose and White Rose Maths.
- Assess, track, and report on students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to cater to varying abilities and needs.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes a growth mindset and encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons, activities, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 4.
- Strong understanding and experience with Red Rose and White Rose Maths.
- Excellent classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
