The Headteacher and Governors of Trawden Forest Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate, positive and skilled class teacher who is committed to playing an active role in the lives and continued development of our children and of our good school.

The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated staff team who share a commitment to providing the best possible education within an amazing setting. They will be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils.

As well as being part of a wonderful staff team, we are a school where pupils enjoy coming to school and working hard, which makes our work much more rewarding.

We are looking for someone who will:
  • Promote positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Have high expectations for pupil learning, behaviour and attainment.
  • Have a creative and practical approach to learning.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the primary curriculum with excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills with experience of working across the school.
  • Have experience of working with a range of Special Educational and behavioural needs.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and to a high standard both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to assist in the assessment, monitoring and recording of pupil progress and developmental needs.
  • Support learning in the classroom.
  • Wants to continually develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Uphold the ethos and values of the School.
