Appley Bridge All Saints’ Church of England Primary Academy is a small, caring and welcoming school, at the heart of its community.
We are seeking to appoint a leader and excellent classroom practitioner who will teach our lovely Year 6 class starting January 2025.
Our pupils' behaviour is excellent and our families are very supportive. Our children have a passion for learning and want to achieve. Having recently been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom mark, all staff are expected to make good use of our extensive school grounds, forest school, and stunning local environment.
The successful candidate will also be required to lead Science for the first year of the role, as well as the school council.
Whilst we already have strong links with our community, especially All Saints' church, we welcome creative and practical input from the successful applicant to enhance these links further. We have an active Friends committee that raises around £10,000 per year through various events, some of which are in the evenings and weekends, which staff are required to attend wherever possible.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a teacher looking to progress to a leadership position in a very supportive and positive environment.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the school; please ring to arrange a convenient time and please feel free to contact the Trust CEO.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
