Reed Education/The Lancashire Teaching Agency are looking for a dedicated Teacher for a Year 1 class, commencing from September 2024 and is expected to last for 1 term. This role offers the chance to work in an “Good” Ofsted rated and supportive faith school environment and make a positive impact on the educational journey of pupils in the school.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering engaging and effective teaching to KS1 and 2 pupils, in line with the national curriculum.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to ensure pupil progression.
  • Creating a nurturing and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Monitoring and supporting the social and emotional development of pupils.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of the children.
  • Communicating with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress and development.
  • Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching across the KS1 and 2 is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
