Are you an inspirational and highly effective practitioner who will provide strong, dedicated leadership to enrich the lives of all our children? We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who sincerely cares and understands that all children have the potential to achieve their dreams to ‘love learning and inspire each other to thrive in the world’.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to start with us in January 2025, as we begin our exciting journey with our new Headteacher and as part of Endeavour Learning Trust. Initially, the role will involve a 0.5 teaching commitment. We very much welcome applications from candidates with SENDCO experience or a commitment to taking on this role following CPD and support.

At BGL, we strive to make every day count. We aim to provide memorable moments for our children through learning, friendship and enrichment. We recognise our role in the community and seek to appoint a leader who is committed to working in close partnership with parents, governors and the wider community. Our Deputy Headteacher will be someone who shows passion and enthusiasm for children’s learning and a dedication to providing the very best education in a happy, calm and safe environment. Our children would like their Deputy Headteacher to listen to them and make learning fun! We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate as a teacher and leader, being passionate in using skills and knowledge to provide highly effective curriculum delivery.

The successful candidate will take a key role in school leadership and management. We are looking for someone who:
