We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant school in the Skelmersdale area. This role involves teaching either Year 3 or Year 4 students and is set to commence in September 2024. The position offers a long-term, ongoing contract, providing stability and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the students’ educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver inspiring lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils in either Year 3 or Year 4.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for key assessments and providing feedback.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages pupils to engage actively in their education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive curriculum and share best teaching practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in school events, activities, and professional development opportunities.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with Year 3 or Year 4.
  • Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
