The Lancashire Teaching Agency are working with a fantastic primary school in Accrington, celebrated for its “Good” Ofsted rating. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Teachers to contribute to the school’s already vibrant learning environment. The post is a full-time temporary position to cover a maternity leave starting from September 2024 and will last until the post holder’s return.

Day to Day of the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the EYFS/Year 1 curriculum.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assess student progress and provide individualised support.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to support student development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A commitment to creating an inspiring and supportive educational atmosphere.
• Excellent organisational and classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
