The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a talented, passionate, and dedicated Class Teacher to join our exceptional team. We are an Outstanding school catering to 166 learners aged 4-16, with a broad range of complex needs.
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can deliver a tailored, personalised curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, particularly those with experience in supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
As a Class Teacher, you will:- Have a deep understanding of child development and adapt your teaching approach to meet the individual needs of learners at various stages.
- Utilise creative teaching methods and technologies to foster engagement and progress, ensuring that learning is age-appropriate despite developmental differences.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing an inclusive, supportive, and motivating environment for students with SEND.
- Work collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants to create meaningful, memorable learning experiences for all students.
- Be responsible for the care, well-being, and progress of the learners within your class, ensuring the highest standards of education and personal development.
- Have experience (or a strong willingness to develop experience) of working with SEND students, across key stages (KS1-KS2), and across a wide range of subjects.
