The governors of Trinity Primary School, Skelmersdale are excited to appoint a class teacher who is:

    The successful candidate will live out and promote our mission statement  “Let our light shine as we live, love and learn together with Jesus” in their work with children, colleagues, parents and governors. They will love teaching, have a passion for working with children and will be committed to developing the holistic nature of each child they teach. They will have high expectations of all children and will ensure that securing academic and holistic progress is at the heart of their pedagogy. Whilst this is a temporary post, the school's ambition is for this post to continue to run yearly.

  • Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher status or equivalent
  • Degree/PGCE or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum Three A Levels
  • Grade 6 or above in GCSE Mathematics and English
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Other Educational/professional qualifications
  • Essential Experience
  • Successful experience of teaching through placement or via paid employment
  • Evidence of providing excellent provision for all pupils achieving high standards of pupil progress.
  • Proof of pupil progress because of your teaching
  • Desirable Experience
  • An excellent understanding of and experience in using assessment and data management
