LTA/Reed Education are working with an ambitious Secondary School in the Nelson area is looking for a dedicated Female P.E Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. The position starts in April 2024, full time, Monday to Friday. The role is for the Summer term.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver high-standard P.E lessons to ensure the continuous development of pupils.
  • Mark and monitor classwork, setting targets for future progress.
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers.
  • Understand the needs of all pupils and monitor their progress in line with the school’s practices.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong knowledge of teaching P.E at KS3 and KS4.
  • Recent relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Reliable, committed, and able to act as a good role model for students.
  • Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
