The Local Governing Board of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School (part of Mater Eccllesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust) wish to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to compliment our leadership team from September 2024. We are a large two form entry school in the Ribbleton area of Preston and the successful candidate will work alongside the teacher from the parallel class. We are looking for a teacher with good organisation, high expectations and a reputation for academic excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent management of children's learning and behaviour. We are looking for a candidate who will:

Uphold and support the Catholic ethos of the school

Be committed to safeguarding

Be a classroom practitioner with a proven record of identifying and narrowing gaps in learning for disadvantaged and SEN children

Have strong inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and pupils

Inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve their full potential

Have experience of preparing children for end of Key Stage assessments

Demonstrate a good understanding of the end of Key Stage expectations

Work closely with other agencies to ensure good transitions to high school
