The governors of Torrisholme Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate assistant headteacher, who is outstanding, inspirational and motivated, to improve the outcomes for our youngest children. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Head Teacher and leadership team to enable everyone in our school community to flourish. There will be a teaching commitment to the post.

Our next Assistant Headteacher will successfully:

Communicate the school’s vision and drive the strategic leadership of our EYFS and KS1, empowering all pupils and staff to excel.

Lead by example with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity drawing on your own scholarship, expertise and skills, and of those around you

Be an inspirational and outstanding EYFS/KS1 classroom practitioner who leads by example and who motivates, inspires and challenges staff and children to be passionate about their learning.

Have a proven track record of raising achievement and developing children to be confident and compassionate.

Have very high expectations of all and will inspire, challenge and encourage staff to achieve the best outcomes for themselves and our pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential

Be innovative and forward thinking with a progressive vision for school improvement through clear communication and have a can-do attitude.

Be able to take a strategic role in curriculum development and provision of the EYFS and KS1 and improving teaching and learning

Be able to support staff in their development
