The governors seek to appoint a strong and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher to join our small but very hardworking team.

In addition to being a creative and excellent classroom practitioner the ideal candidate will be a determined and ambitious leader with the vision and skills to work effectively alongside the headteacher in the key strategic role of raising standards. We require a leader who will support and promote our Christian ethos in both our school and our wider community whilst developing inspirational learning experiences across the curriculum.

The post is full time with class teaching responsibility. Other areas of responsibility will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

We are looking for a deputy headteacher who:
  • Will support the school’s distinctive Christian character.
  • Has a strong faith and a passion for pastoral care in school.
  • Is an inspirational and outstanding classroom practitioner who leads by example and who motivates, inspires and challenges children to be the best that they can be.
  • Is passionate about children’s learning and has a proven track record of raising attainment and developing the whole child.
  • Has high expectations and will inspire, challenge and encourage staff to achieve the best outcomes for themselves and our pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential.
  • Is innovative and forward thinking with a progressive vision for school improvement through drive, ambition and creativity.
