Information
The staff at Moor Park High School and Sixth Form are a caring, supportive team who are passionate about the well-being of our learning community and are dedicated to ensuring the success of the students and the School.  Our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2021 established that the school is now firmly ‘Good’, and that safety, good behaviour and high expectations permeate every part of school life.  The report also notes that; “Teachers enjoy working at the school.  They feel valued and supported by senior leaders and governors”.   Visitors to Moor Park consistently comment on the warm, sociable and friendly atmosphere within our School and the polite and enthusiastic nature of our students.  We are extremely proud of what we have achieved at Moor Park and are excited about the future ahead

We are therefore looking to appoint an inspirational, talented and committed full time Teacher of Music who will also be the Subject Leader for Performing Arts.  Ideally, candidates will be an active musician with strong subject knowledge in a vast range of instruments and music technology and will join a developing department within a successful faculty.  Candidates will need to demonstrate an exceptional passion, commitment and energy in Performing Arts and a willingness to contribute widely to the work of the faculty.  Aside from curriculum teaching across KS3 and KS4, the successful candidate will contribute to extra-curriculum activities and be encouraged to deliver school performances and concerts.

We can offer:

  • a warm and welcoming School with friendly and enthusiastic students who enjoy learning in a safe and happy environment;
  • high expectations of ourselves and the students in relation to behaviour and academic and creative progress;
  • a School valued and supported by Governors, Senior Leadership Team, parents and the community;
