Are you a Teacher looking for a new challenge? The LTA are recruiting for a Teacher in Year 1/2 for a school in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. The role is for at least 2 terms and is full-time, starting on Monday 17th April 2023. You are expected to perform all the roles that a teacher in a long-term temporary position would be expected to do. There are 28 children in the class in total and you will be supported by a full-time Teaching Assistant. The school have high standards and so want someone who can really challenge and push the children to achieve a good level of work!

Key Features for working with the LTA are:

  • Weekly payment from £143 - £184 per day, depending on experience
  • Access to regular CPD courses to keep up to date

    Candidates must have:

  • QTS and be qualified to teach in primary Education
  • Experience of working with children in Key Stage 1
  • Experience of Year 2 SATS (desirable)
  • A desire to exceed and challenge children to exceed
