The governors at New Longton All Saints’ Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a permanent full time EYFS class teacher for September 2023. 

This will be a great opportunity to build on your excellent classroom practice, with a key role in shaping the vision for learning in Early Years and lead Phonics and another subject area across school.  We pride ourselves on providing a dynamic and innovative environment, which is fully supported by a dedicated and effective governing board and forward-facing leadership team. 

The school is looking to recruit an excellent teacher, first and foremost, with a proven track record of helping pupils achieve highly, who can take a lead role in developing our EYFS curriculum offer and support our dedicated EYFS team in honing their skills and embracing innovative and engaging ways of delivering the curriculum.

    Recent and relevant experience within an EYFS primary classroom

    Experience of effective behaviour management

    Experience of being involved in the wider life of a school

    Experience of using assessment to support excellent outcomes for children

    Experience as a successful and effective subject leader

    Experience of managing adults effectively within the EYFS setting

    Desirable Experience
    Due to the expectation of leading a subject area, this role is not suitable for ECTs.
