Information
‘ENJOY, RESPECT, SUCCEED’

Our school family chose these three words to sum up our aims and values, which came out of an inclusive process involving children, parents, staff and Governors. A key phrase that emerged was ‘be proud of yourself on your school’, which we believe reflects the pride we feel in our children and the progress they make with us.

Our school was rated as ‘good’ at our most recent Ofsted Inspection in September 2018, with lots of work undertaken since then to secure and build upon that judgement.

We are looking for an exceptional school leader who can work with the Governing Board and our first-class staff team on our continuing journey working towards an ‘outstanding’ judgement, based on having the highest possible aspirations for every pupil at a Cherry Fold Primary School.

We are seeking a Head teacher who is:
  • An inspirational leader and who is committed/passionate about providing the best learning opportunities and personal development for all our children
  • A strong, resilient and determined leader who is approachable and able to build good relationships with children, staff, parents, Governors and all other members of the school community.
  • Is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children and staff

    We can offer you:
  • The opportunity to make a difference to well behaved, enthusiastic, caring children who are keen to learn
  • A commitment to personal development and wellbeing, with an openness to new ideas to benefit our children and school in the future
  • A happy, creative environment that supports and enhances a fully inclusive ethos
  • A dedicated Governing Board supported by hardworking, skilled, enthusiastic and friendly staff

Given the location of our school we will never allow the high levels of deprivation experienced by our children and families to become a barrier to excellence and the successful candidate will have an opportunity to make a real difference to our children's lives. Are you the right person to help us achieve this goal?
