Thank you for your interest in the key position of Deputy Headteacher and Year 5 Teacher at our School, to start in January 2023.

The Governing Board is seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher and Year 5 Teacher who will work closely with the Headteacher in the leadership of our school, building on current excellent practice and also bringing a fresh perspective.

Shortlisting of candidates for interview will take place on Monday 10th October 2022 and interviews will be held on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th October 2022.

Qualified Teacher Status 

Degree

Essential Experience

Proven excellence in teaching pupils within the primary phase.

Thorough knowledge of teaching and learning across all 3 Key Stages. 

Secure understanding of assessment strategies, data analysis and the use of assessment to maximise achievement.

Ability to promote inclusion and meet the needs of all pupils.

A commitment to addressing diversity positively.

Desirable Experience

To have taught in a minimum of two different schools.
