Thank you for your interest in the key position of Deputy Headteacher and Year 5 Teacher at our School, to start in January 2023.

The Governing Board is seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher and Year 5 Teacher who will work closely with the Headteacher in the leadership of our school, building on current excellent practice and also bringing a fresh perspective.

Essential Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status 
  • Degree
  • Essential Experience
  • Proven excellence in teaching pupils within the primary phase.
  • Thorough knowledge of teaching and learning across all 3 Key Stages. 
  • Secure understanding of assessment strategies, data analysis and the use of assessment to maximise achievement.
  • Ability to promote inclusion and meet the needs of all pupils.
  • A commitment to addressing diversity positively.
  • Desirable Experience
  • To have taught in a minimum of two different schools.
