Information
The Headteacher and Governors of St Gregorys Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented, experienced teacher who is committed to getting only the best for the children in their care. We are looking to balance the blend of experience across our school staff and, as a result, this post is suitable for a more-experienced teacher who is perhaps looking to broaden their experience before embarking on the next stage of their career. We can accommodate both Main Pay Scale and Upper Pay Scale candidates for this post.

Standards of attainment and behaviour at our school are good, and – after some exciting innovations last year to breathe new life into the school community - we are now ready to move on to the next stage of our journey. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic teacher with an open mind and a ‘can-do attitude’ who can join our team and help to make our mission intention even more of a reality for all the children at St Gregory’s.

We can offer:

  • A popular, over-subscribed, inclusive Catholic school with excellent links with the local Parish

  • A happy, welcoming, progressive environment with a strong sense of educational vision and mission

  • Excellent opportunities for professional development wherever you are at in your career

  • A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning

  • Enthusiastic and well-behaved children who love coming to our school

  • Superb pastoral provision which helps to ‘set our children up to succeed’

  • A fully supportive body of professionals – Governors, teachers, TAs and senior leaders - who will support you fully to achieve your ambitions as a class teacher and beyond

  • Visits to the school are encouraged; please ring the school office to book in (01772 795415). Please also visit the school website to get an even better ‘flavour’ for our school. (https://www.stgregorysps.co.uk/).

The closing date for applications is Monday 26th September 12 noon.

Short-listing will take place on Monday 26th September.

Observations and interviews will take place on Tuesday 11th October 2022.
