The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Deputy Headteacher to work alongside the headteacher, governors, staff and the community to support the future development of our happy, welcoming and successful school.

This vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current Deputy Headteacher.

At Northfold we believe in developing the whole child and our school is not just about academic achievement alone. Much of our curriculum helps to develop a child’s physical and mental health as well as their academic achievements.
Our hard-working staff have high personal standards and expend a great deal of effort themselves in the interests of pupils. They insist, firmly, but fairly, on hard work and commitment from pupils and on high standards in everything they do.

The school endeavours to provide a well-balanced education, developing attitudes of tolerance, fair play and conscientious application to work. Every effort is made to provide each child with a firm foundation before moving on to High School. All children are treated as individuals and are encouraged to develop at the pace appropriate to them.

Facilities at the school have been enhanced recently with the construction of a dedicated outdoor classroom which has helped our very popular outdoor lessons to continue whatever the weather.

The successful candidate will:
  • be a highly effective teacher
  • have the drive, determination and leadership skills necessary to make a significant
contribution to the further development of our school
  • have the ability to motivate and inspire pupils, staff, parents and governors
  • have a proven record of a leadership position in school
  • have strong communication skills

    Northfold can offer:

  • a dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff who are committed to improving the
    life chances of our pupils

The successful candidate will also be required to provide documentary proof of identity and qualifications.

    Our Mission Statement is:-
