LTA / Reed Education are seeking an EYFS SEN Primary Teacher to support pupils at an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Primary school in the Preston area. This new Teacher role is a part-time temporary position covering 3.5 days per week (Mon-Wed and then half day Thu). This role is starting in September 2022 and then is on a ongoing basis for the right candidate.

The School is aiming to provide children with an excellent education in a caring & understanding environment.

Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching EYFS (Reception) is essential for this position.

The successful applicants must:

  • Must have QTS or equivalent
  • Must have recent relevant experience of teaching EYFS Curriculum
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)
  • Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.

    Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
  • Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
  • Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
  • Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
  • Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
