Fleetwood High School is a fully comprehensive school for 11 to 16 year olds which serves the Fylde Coast, predominantly Fleetwood, Thornton and Cleveleys, Lancashire. There are currently 990 pupils on the school roll.
In the Fleetwood area we are fast becoming the popular choice school for children and their carers and for a number of years we have been oversubscribed.
We realise our vision of recognising the value of learning and taking a pride in achievements through nurturing a culture of independent learning, everyone is expected to push the boundaries of their potential through dedication to personal best.
We are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher with History Specialism Teacher to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
You will join us at a point in our development where our examination results are improving over the years. There is a great sense of pride in what our students achieve over the 5 years that they are with us.
This is a one year fixed-term post with the opportunity for a permanent contract, budget permitting.
