From 1st September 2022, the Governing Body of the school are looking for a strong and inspiring teacher to join our team of friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking staff and governors as class teacher. This will be a permanent position.

We are a caring, happy school where children are valued as individuals and provided with suitable challenge to enable them to achieve their full potential. We are looking for someone with ambition and enthusiasm who can work well within a team whilst having a lasting, positive impact on our children. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum for learners. We can offer you children who are eager to learn and full of enthusiasm and a dedicated and welcoming team of staff, parents and governors. We also believe this post will provide the right candidate with an exciting opportunity to further develop their professional expertise in a supportive environment.



Briercliffe Primary School currently has 370 pupils on roll. In September 2020, the school began its expansion process and our intake increased from 45 to 60 children. This exciting process will offer the successful candidate the chance to be part of new opportunities as the school expands further. Due to the growing nature of our school, we are able to be flexible over which year-group this post will occupy. We are simply looking to appoint the strongest candidate for our school and hope to be able to offer the post-holder an opportunity which best suits their strengths and experience. (The year-group where the successful candidate would ideally like to work will be discussed at interview.)
