LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Teacher for Year 2 for a primary school in the Preston area. This role is a part time position covering 5 days per week, 4 mornings and 1 full day. The role is a temporary position, starting ASAP and is expected to last until Summer 2022. The School believe in providing their pupils with the best quality education in a caring environment.
The School is looking for a Year 2 teacher to teach a split class for 4 mornings and 1 full day. There will be another teacher in Year 2, teaching the other half of the class.
Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching KS1 & KS2 is essential for this position.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
•Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
•Excellent behaviour management skills
