Elm Tree Community Primary School is a specialist school catering for children who have a statement for Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. 

At Elm Tree School we pride ourselves on providing an exciting and stimulating curriculum that engages all our children and allows us to meet the individual needs of each and every child. We are a caring school where each child is valued as an individual and their achievements, big or small, are recognised and celebrated. We are looking for a Class Teacher interested in developing their career. Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is not essential as we are looking for an individual that is passionate about working with children and is willing to support our vision. We currently have 140 children on roll. You will join a team that is passionately committed to harnessing the educational potential of all our children whilst encouraging them to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
