LTA / Reed Education are seeking an Key Stage 2 Teacher for a caring and happy Primary school in the Morecambe area. This new Teacher role is a Full-time temporary position covering 5 days per week, from 08:30-15:30. This role is starting in September 2022 and then is on a ongoing basis for the full academic year for the right candidate.
The school ensures to create a happy and safe learning environment to enable the children to experience all aspects of the primary curriculum in a fun and creative way.
Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching Key Stage 2 is essential for this position.
The successful applicants must:
• Must have QTS or equivalent
• Must have recent relevant experience of teaching KS2 Curriculum
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)
• Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
•Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
•Excellent behaviour management skills.
