The Governing Body of Staining CE Primary School are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to work at our wonderful school. This post is to cover maternity leave starting from 28th January 2022†until the return of the post holder. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated†classroom practitioner to teach in a mixed age class of 18 pupils consisting of reception, year 1 and year 2.

The successful candidate will be:

- an experienced teacher

- committed to and able to support the school's Christian ethos

- have an understanding of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum

- able to creatively plan, prepare and deliver lessons

- able to ensure progress for all pupils through robust tracking and interventions

- maintain excellent relationships with children, parents and staff

Essential Experience

Pupilsí educational development at Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage

Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.

Effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all pupils.

Enthusiastic, with a high level of motivation and initiative

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptability to changing situations

Desirable Experience

Experience of teaching foundation stage

Experience of teaching KS1

Experience of teaching mixed-age groups

Experience of working with and engaging parents and the wider community
