The Governors of Farington Moss St Paul's Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary part time Key Stage 2 teacher responsible for planning and teaching in Year 3. The position is for two full days and one half day (Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday).

St Paul's is a one-form entry voluntary aided school comprising of seven classes with extensive outdoor space and facilities including trim-trails, traversing wall and garden. Every teacher is supported by a teaching assistant for part of the week. Our Christian faith underpins all that we do in school and permeates all aspects of school life. 'Thrive in the Gift of Life' is our school vision and we realise our vision through inspiring and nurturing our whole school family to grow and reach their full potential.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Recent experience of teaching/or practice in Key Stage 2
  • Experience of teaching National Curriculum
  • Ability to provide a stimulating, happy and secure learning environment
  • Sound knowledge of the elements of effective teaching and learning including Assessment for Learning

  • Evidence of faith commitment
  • Knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Experience of supporting pupils with an EHCP and SEND pupils
