The Governing Body of Staining CE Primary School are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to work at our wonderful school. This post is to cover maternity leave starting from 28th January 2022 until the return of the post holder. We are looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, classroom practitioner to teach in class 1 which is a mixed class of 18 pupils consisting of reception, year 1 and year 2. The appointed candidate will be required to coordinate ICT, Art & Design and DT and will be given release time to support this. The successful candidate will be: - an experienced teacher - committed to and able to support the school's Christian ethos - have an understanding of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum - able to creatively plan, prepare and deliver lessons - able to ensure progress for all pupils through robust tracking and interventions - maintain excellent relationships with children, parents and staff In return we can offer: - the opportunity to join our dedicated, warm and welcoming team - a Christian family atmosphere, working in partnership with all families, church and community - hard working and supportive colleagues who demonstrate drive and passion - enthusiastic and well behaved pupils - a supportive governing body who are not afraid to challenge - opportunities for CPD Due to the nature of this mixed age class, this post will not be suitable for Early Careers Teachers/ NQT’s.
