Teaching and Learning Consultant (English with Geography)

Due to expanding demand, Lancashire Professional Development Service (a marketed service within Lancashire County Council) is seeking to appoint a Teaching and Learning Consultant to join our successful and dynamic team. The post will involve the creation and delivery of in-service courses and conferences, provision of high - quality advice and support through school-based consultancy, and the development of new resource materials and publications.

Are you:

an excellent and experienced classroom teacher with experience of leading and managing within a team.
passionate and knowledgeable about the primary English and the fundamental role it plays in a child's education;
knowledgeable and excited about the primary geography curriculum;
an inspiring and engaging presenter;
able to offer support and leadership in other curriculum areas;
a team player and an inspiration to colleagues?

Successful candidates will have excellent recent classroom experience, the ability to inspire and to be creative, possess effective organisational and administrative skills, a current driving licence and a car available for their full-time use as the role will involve travelling across Lancashire and beyond.

The interview date will be Tuesday 13th July. We will advise further regarding whether interviews will be face to face or online
